Travel Insurance

1. Coverage Inclusions

The policy typically covers:

  • Trip Cancellation – reimbursement of prepaid expenses if the trip is canceled due to illness, injury, death of traveler or immediate family, natural disaster, or other covered reasons.
  • Trip Interruption – reimbursement for unused trip portions or additional costs to return home early due to covered reasons.
  • Medical Expenses – coverage for emergency medical and hospital expenses incurred during travel.
  • Emergency Evacuation & Repatriation – cost of transportation to the nearest adequate medical facility or return to home country in case of severe illness or accident.
  • Baggage Loss/Delay – compensation for lost, stolen, or delayed baggage and personal belongings.
  • Travel Delay – reimbursement for reasonable expenses (meals, lodging, transport) due to flight or travel delays.
  • Accidental Death & Disability – benefit payable in case of accidental death or permanent disability during the trip.

2. Exclusions

This policy does not cover:

  • Pre-existing medical conditions (unless specified).
  • Participation in extreme sports or hazardous activities (unless covered by add-on).
  • Losses due to intoxication, illegal activities, or negligence.
  • Civil commotion, war, or acts of terrorism (unless explicitly included).
  • Non-documented expenses or losses without proof.

3. Policy Duration

  • Coverage begins from the date of departure and ends upon return to the point of origin.
  • Optional pre-trip coverage (for cancellations) starts from the day insurance is purchased.

4. Claim Procedure

  • Notify the agency or insurance provider immediately in case of incident.
  • Provide supporting documents (medical reports, police reports, receipts, airline confirmations, etc.).
  • Claims must be filed within [X days] of the incident or return from the trip.

5. Premium & Payment
